Plink Art is an ‘app’ for mobile phones that lets you identify almost any work of art just by taking a photo of it. Now the four month-old start-up company behind PlinkArt.com, which is based in Oxford, has been acquired by Google. The team will work on the search engine’s ‘Goggles’ project `helping to build a visual search engine that works not just for paintings or book covers, but for everything you see around you`.

These images are of Lillington Youth Centre showing off their new artwork on the wall in the centre. They were designed by Tony Dixon who is a local artist who was comissioned to help out on the project. Two local Olympiads came along to welcome the new art. The whole youth centre helped out and they say that the paintings are something to aspire to and liven up the place.
